Bobbi Owen is excited to return to Hirst Applegate as a law clerk for the second summer in a row. Bobbi just completed her 2L year at the University of Wyoming College of Law. During the past academic year, she served as an extern for Chief Judge Nancy Freudenthal of the U.S. District Court of Wyoming. In the coming year, she will represent the law school at the Regional ABA Negotiations Competition, serve as the student director of the Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Clinic, and work as a teaching assistant in the Legal Research and Writing Program.
Prior to law school, Bobbi earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Carroll College in Helena, Montana, where she was a member of the Moot Court and Speech and Debate teams. During college, she held a variety of internships and jobs for employers such as Congressman Steve Daines, Montana Legal Services Association, a political consulting and government relations firm, and a local lobbying firm. In her free time, Bobbi returns to her family’s cattle ranch in rural, southeastern Montana.
