Partner Billie Addleman recently represented a real estate broker before the Wyoming Real Estate Commission (WREC).  The client, a licensed broker, was the subject of a licensing complaint from another real estate broker arising from the client’s involvement in several real estate transactions in southeast Wyoming.

The complaint alleged several violations under the Wyoming Real Estate License Act and the WREC rules and regulations.  Addleman worked with the client to answer the WREC complaint and prepared the client for an interview by the WREC investigator.  Following the investigator’s interview, the WREC voluntarily dismissed the complaint.

Over the past decade, Addleman has represented clients before numerous licensing boards, including the Board of Medicine, Board of Dental Examiners, Board of Nursing and Wyoming Real Estate Commission.  He also provides risk management training to realtors, including the importance of documentation and how to avoid litigation and licensing complaints
