On Tuesday, September 24, 2019, Hirst Applegate attorney Shaina A. Case partnered with the Laramie County Community College Foundation and Thrivent Financial to host an all day, an open to the public, workshop entitled, “The Business of You.” The workshop was organized into four independent sessions, with each session focused on different stages of life in order to develop more pointed and effective discussions. The sessions included retired professionals, mid-career and pre-retirement, young professionals, and a special session hosted specifically for LCCC employees. Shaina appreciated the opportunity to discuss such an important and relevant topic like the definition of estate planning, what happens in probate, the need to appoint guardians, the use of the beneficiary deed, and the biggest mistakes they see in estate planning.
