Erin Berry and John Fritz, associate attorneys at Hirst Applegate, LLP, were recently elected to serve as members of the Wyoming State Bar Young Lawyers Section. The Wyoming State Bar Young Lawyers Section is a practice section for attorneys under the age of 36 or who have been admitted to practice in their first bar association within the past 5 years.

Erin has practiced at Hirst Applegate since she graduated law school in 2018. Her practice focuses primarily in the areas of civil litigation, including employment, commercial, real estate, and personal injury litigation. John has practiced at Hirst Applegate since 2020. Prior to starting at Hirst Applegate, John clerked for Wyoming Supreme Court Justice Lynne Boomgaarden.

Both Erin and John are excited to continue Hirst Applegate, LLP’s long history of Wyoming State Bar leadership and involvement.  Erin looks forward to serving as a voice for the young lawyers of Wyoming. She hopes to increase the sense of community and connection between young attorneys in Wyoming.  Likewise, John is eager to advocate for young attorneys’ interests and goals throughout the year, particularly focusing on how the Wyoming State Bar can encourage young attorneys with diverse backgrounds and practice areas to become community leaders.

Erin will serve as the Secretary/Treasurer of the section for the 2021-2022 year, while John will serve as an At-Large Member.
