Associate attorney, Erin Berry, recently joined the Board of Directors for the Friday Food Bag Foundation. Founded in 2007, the Friday Food Bag Foundation partners with the community to provide nutritious food to children who might not eat well, or at all, on the weekends. The Friday Food Bag Foundation feeds approximately 900 children in Laramie County per week. Each week, volunteers fill bags of food that are then delivered to the schools for children to take home for the weekend.
Erin’s husband, David, is a school counselor at a local high school. After hearing stories about hunger and food insecurity of students from her husband, Erin wanted to join the Friday Food Bag Foundation board to serve her community.
