Hirst Applegate attorneys also take an active role in coaching local teams in the Wyoming High School Mock Trial competition and sponsors the Hirst Applegate Mock Trial Competition at UW and the UW College of Law Trial Advocacy Competition.
Family is important at Hirst Applegate. Throughout the year the firm holds a variety of social events for attorneys, staff, and their families, and emphasizes the importance of balancing work life with home life. Our annual summer BBQ and Christmas party are some of the most anticipated gatherings of the year for our families. We also understand that having a family sometimes means our people may need to take time off during the day for medical appointments, school programs, or other family matters. We work with our staff and attorneys to accommodate those obligations.

Denver and Fort Collins are just a short drive from Cheyenne, giving convenient access to a major airport, numerous shopping malls, sporting and entertainment events, recreational opportunities, and a lot more.
