Hirst Applegate partner Khale Lenhart recently began his fifth year of service on the Laramie County Library System Board of Directors.  Mr. Lenhart was first appointed to the Board for a three year term in 2013 and was reappointed to a second term in 2016.  He has served as Treasurer, Vice Chair, and – from 2015-2017 – as Chair of the Board of Directors.  During his time on the Board and as Chair, the library successfully navigated a transition to a new executive director, revised its budgeting process, and drafted a new strategic plan.  The Laramie County Library system is an award-winning library with three branch locations, a budget of over $5.7 million, over 75 employees, and a collection of more than 319,000 items.  Mr. Lenhart’s service on the library’s Board of Directors is one of the many ways that Hirst Applegate attorneys serve their community.
