Tyson R. Woodford is an associate at Hirst Applegate, LLP, where his practice area is focused on civil litigation. Tyson graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in May of 2021. During law school, he externed for Magistrate Judge Boyle at the United States District Court in Phoenix. Tyson also participated in presenting multiple felony cases during his time as an extern at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, working in the Special Crimes Bureau. Additionally, he contributed as a member of the Arizona State Law Journal.
Before law school, Tyson attended the University of Wyoming where he received his bachelor’s degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Spanish Literature. His decision to major in Spanish was driven by his experiences living in Spain, where he resided for a couple years after high school. Tyson grew up in Wyoming and values the privilege to practice law in his home state.

Tyson enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. Together, they like to go fishing, play soccer, and attend sporting everts – especially weekends in Laramie cheering on the Pokes.
