During the Fall 2022 semester, Hirst Applegate attorney Christine Jordan offered two Life Enrichment Courses on immigration: “Immigration 101 in the Cowboy State” and “Family-based Immigration.” LCCC Life Enrichment Courses are open to all community members to attend. During the Immigration 101 in the Cowboy State course, community members learned about the various forms of legal immigration offered by the U.S. government and engaged in an open discussion of how immigration impacts our community. Through the Family-based Immigration course, Christine provided a detailed review of the many steps it takes to obtain lawful permanent resident status for a family member.
