Billie LM Addleman recently defended a listing agent in a professional liability lawsuit in western Wyoming.  The plaintiff alleged that numerous real estate professionals and the seller failed to disclose known adverse facts about the home they purchased.  The claims were denied by the various defendants.  Addleman worked with the client and the plaintiff to resell the house, which greatly mitigated plaintiff’s damages and allowed the parties to hold an early mediation.  The client’s efforts, along with counsel, facilitated a favorable resolution prior to incurring the costs of extensive written and deposition discovery.
