The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services recently partnered with the Wyoming Trucking Association to conduct a survey of truck drivers regarding their attitudes and opinions toward safety.  The survey found that over 90% of drivers believed their company worked to ensure the safest possible working conditions, did not take significant compromises or shortcuts where worker safety is at stake, and that safety of workers is a high priority with management.  The survey also covered some of the frustrations felt by truck drivers, where almost half reported often being frustrated by other drivers on the road.  The survey provides a fascinating insight into the trucking industry and its drivers’ views.  The survey’s data and findings are available at:  http://www.wyomingworkforce.org/_docs/news/whatsnew/2018-06-27-trucker.pdf
